The magic of it all at

MERCEDES-BENZ

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival has kicked off in full swing. The first show on Tuesday night saw Jen Hawkins parading down the runway for Bendon Lingerie. Followed by the "Best of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim"; Lisa Blue, Kooey and Suboo were among the brands that showed their bikinis and one-piece swimsuits in Sydney. We even caught up with Whitney Port.

Floral bikinis, baby-doll dresses and kaftans were also shown by White Sands, while Suboo and Kooey presented colourful geometric-print swimsuits.
"Our Australian swimwear designers are so strong internationally and we are one of the strongest beach cultures in the world," said Elle Persson, director of strategy and marketing for IMG Fashion, which owns MBFWA.

Oroton's Creative Director, Ana Maria Escobar, used glomesh to embellish shirts, jackets, skirts and dresses in keeping with the heritage of the brand, which released its first glomesh purse in 1952. Models had braided hair and simplistic make-up. The style was relaxed with a breezy elegance.
